Kevin Qais Essar, talented musician and well experienced live performer, carries on the traditional legacy of classical Aghan instrumentation, as set by Ustad Mohammad Omar, whom is considered the ‘father of the Rabab”. Trained in both classical and folk mediums, Essar has been able to, along with membership of the Pangean Orchestra, a collection of 50 of the most diverse world musicians, fuse the Rabab with both western and eastern styling, collaborating with many artists, covering the musical spectrum.
