About

What sets The Pangean Orchestra apart from other world music projects is the size of the ensemble.
This is the first endeavor to create an entire orchestra that implements musicians and instruments from every corner of the world on stage. Whether they play the Violin, kaval, Pipa, or the Drum set, they are treated as equals.
The repertoire of the ensemble is derived out of the music that surrounds each instrument from the orchestra. Music ranges from modern electronica style pieces, to ancient folk songs and anything in between.
We serve as a platform to show the world what is possible when we build upon our similarities as a people and then celebrate the differences.
